Legacy of kain blood omen walkthrough pc8/30/2023 ![]() ![]() The next prisoner Kain encounters should max out his current lore, increase his blood vial, and reset (and increase the length of) the lore meter. Having satisfied Kain's thirst, Umah will remind him of a vampire's lore, which is basically experience to increase Kain's blood vial. Oh yeah, the prisoner is immediately below where Kain stands for the movie, so just hop off the catwalk (there is no falling damage for a vampire unless he touches fire or water) and whack, whack, whack. Feed when you see the chance, or Kain will run out of life and expire. Another important note is now that Kain can feed, he will begin to experience a slow blood loss from his ever present "thirst" (and indirect sunlight). For that, he will need to make sure that they are dead first. This is very important - Kain can no longer feed upon live victims (with Blood Shower or Blood Gout) just freshly killed ones. ![]() Tag the checkpoint and keep on truckin'.Ĭheckpoint (15% complete) Open the door and Umah will instruct Kain on how to feed. Follow the little minx until the gate closes and Kain receives a training message to open a door. Beside the gate where Umah is waiting, there will be an intermittent "item glint" (similar to the one found in Resident Evil). She will say nothing - testing Kain's patience and ability to observe his surroundings. This is important: Kain cannot make great lateral jumps until he has earned the dark gift of long jump, so do not try to "Raziel glide" to distant platforms without that ability or you'll be sorry.Ĭontinue onwards until you see Umah behind a gate (th'hell she get there!?). Notice that regardless how far you push the stick forward, Kain will stop going forward after a while and simply fall (or slow-fall) straight to the ground. This move is not particularly useful, although the stealth qualities it bestows is useful when Kain is running from the law. Once you have Kain meet Umah atop the roof, she will then instruct you how to glide. Kain is one of many examples why you don't want to live in the slums, or "tender" portions of any city. The job will then dictate where you live. The job you get depends on your grades (yes it does, not that it matters how you can't understand it). This is a good time to bring up why you kids should do well in school. In these slums, no one will miss the rabble. Kain may jump up to where the couple is talking and slay them - you cannot feed just yet (nor will Kain suffer any blood loss at the moment). ![]() That way, even if Kain bites off more than he can chew, he will die, but return to that last checkpoint with full vitality.Ĭheckpoint (5% complete) Umah will next instruct Kain on how to jump. Remember to always touch it immediately, especially if Kain is surrounded by enemies. The curious stream of red bubbles (similar to an unblockable attack signature) signifies that location as a progress checkpoint. There will be training messages (if your system supports them) that will clue Kain on what he can do. Do as Umah says, and walk down the street to meet her. She will reacquaint Kain (and those of you who have forgotten how to kill) with his vampiric nature. The Slums This part is Kain's tutorial and Umah will in fact guide you poor deluded fools forward. ![]()
